Viscosity of Fuel Oil

For optimal results in a boiler, fuel oil spray must have accurate characteristics to ensure fuel oil control. The spray is directly dependent upon the fuel oil viscosity. This parameter is always mentioned by the burners' manufacturers.

The correct viscosity is obtained by heating the fuel oil to be burnt.

The viscometer sensor is easily installed at the heater outlet. The sensor delivers the viscosity information to the electronics reading and control box.

The viscometers electronics send a signal to increase or decrease the heat to the fuel oil, so the proper viscosity for burning is maintained.
